TORQUE WRENCHES

These multipliers provide the perfect solution where controlled torque is required up to high values. These are continuously rotating tools with no impacting or impulsing. Not only does this give vastly superior torque control to impact wrenches of similar output, but noise and vibration levels are also much lower.

Norbar 'Handtorque' multipliers employ multiple stage of epicyclic gearing to give a wide range of torque outputs and ratios to suit most applications.

Ratios quoted are always the torque multiplication ratio, not the velocity ratio as given for some competitor's products. For example, the velocity ratio may be 29.8:1 to give a torque multipication of 25:1 4%.

  • Torque outputs up to 47,500Nm.
  • High ratios allow the use of a small torque wrench, multipliers can be used where access is limited.
  • All models over 25:1 are available with an Anti Wind-Up ratchet(AWUR).
  • AWUR contains the 'wind up' developed in all high ratio multipliers allowing for easy and safe operation.
  • AWUR locks the multiplier onto the bolt once torque is applied. Handtorques can then be used upside down and will support their own weight.
