HYDRAULIC - CLOVER TOOL COMPANY is proud to represent the finest hydraulic torque wrench manufacturers in the business. Whatever your application, we have a hydraulic ratchet to fit which will make your project faster, safer, and more economical to maintain. Merely preset your desired torque on the available power units, and these tools will stall upon reaching that preselected torque. No more overtorqued or undertorqued studs; just a consistent, even, quick torque on all bolts on the joint. All done in a safe, effective manner. All tooling is available in either lbs/ft or N/m readings, and fractional or metric sizes.

Our hydraulic torque wrenches are the most advanced tools available today, and provide several means of working different applications from simple flange work (pipeline, BOP, etc.) to large high pressure joints (heat exchangers, reactors, BOP bonnets, etc.) to offshore applications (BOPs, wellheads, deepwater riser joints, subsea equipment, etc.). Tooling available includes standard square drive ratchets (for use with standard impact sockets), low profile ratchets/wrench systems (for use when working flanges or other hard to reach areas), and `convertible' tools (which offers the ability to handle both the square drive/socket applications and the low profile applications utilizing just one tool). We also have available the most advanced deepwater riser tool on the market today. Tooling power ranges in torque output from 150 ft/lbs torque to over 120,000 ft/lbs torque.

The sockets and various accessories for any standard air impact or hydraulic torque wrench presently owned by our customers are also available from Clover Tool Company.

PNEUMATIC - For situations where a controlled, steady, smooth run down and torque is desired, the NORBAR Pneutorq air powered torque wrench/nut rundown tool is the one to choose. These tools are extremely quiet, smooth, and dependable. Operating from rig/plant/compressor air, these tools are available in models which range from 66 ft/lbs torque to over 81,000 ft/lbs torque.

TORQUE MULTIPLIERS - These multipliers provide the perfect solution where controlled torque is required up to high values. These are continuously rotating tools with no impacting or impulsing. Not only does this give vastly superior torque control to impact wrenches of similar output, but noise and vibration levels are also much lower. Available in various drive sizes & torque ratios. Safer & more accurate than other manual means of multiplying torque (cheater bars, sledgehammers, etc.)
